Most treatments offer surface only rejuvenation, but the Rhytec Portrait PSR® Skin Regeneration procedure changes the conditions below the surface of the skin, leading to continuing regeneration and improvements in wrinkles, tone, texture and discoloration. Portrait PSR® delivers plasma energy to the treated area without direct contact to the skin, which preserves the skin's outer layers. These outer layers act as a protective skin dressing until the new layers of skin form underneath, coming to the surface over a period of 7 days while the skin’s outer layer sheds. This technology is unique since a laser is not used to resurface the skin.
