Scars are unsightly and unattractive, however, some people are more prone to forming scars than others. At Potomac Surgical Arts, we can help to improve the appearance of your scars with medicine or surgery, depending on your condition.

SCAR GUARD®

This product has been clinically shown to dramatically improve the appearance of scars. Scar Guard combines silicone, cortisone, Vitamin E along with scar bleaching agents to make your scars look their best. The product is painted on the scar twice a day and is typically used for 2 to 4 months for maximum benefit. It is available at our office in 15ml and 30ml bottles.
